Availability and Response Times

We usually respond to e-mails within one business day.

Expectation of Authenticity

You are expected to be who you represent you are. Your name, company affiliation, and the contents of your resume are all expected to be authentic. Jobs posted by employers are expected to be a fair and comprehensive representation, acceptable in the industry for the job in question.

Job Eligibility Status

Any member posting jobs, or applying for work, represents they are legally Permitted to Work In the United States and are allowed to work in the sector of the cannabis Industry in the State of Colorado for which they've shown an interest. While employers will perform whatever background checks they see fit, we never perform such checks. If it is brought to our attention that a member is not authorized to work as required, then we might discontinue that person's account, but will do our own further research first. We will not report back on the status of our decision in this regard.

Data Management and Confidentiality

We do not sell, rent, or otherwise distribute your personally identifiable information. We believe everyone's pretty much had enough of that by now anyway, don't you?

The website will use information you enter as required for the performance of a transaction, and the channels through which you have authorized such information to flow: i.e. e-mail.

We will use aggregate information that is non-personally identifiable for the purpose of optimizing our relevance to our audience and attracting advertisers, but that use remains internal to our organization and is not viewed by third parties. An example of this use would be for web analytics.

Data Security

We have built in the best data security we know how. While we take great pains to secure everything, breaches are not impossible with any system. That said, we maintain strict access controls and host with a trusted data center to whom we have direct contact with the engineers that run the hosting service. We do not use cut-rate, budget web hosting and that fact alone improves our security profile. From the website to the hosting, we are focused on delivering a safe experience.

Web Forms

We regularly purge our web forms database as some of the information these forms store can be considered personally identifiable. Once we have what we need to help you, there's no reason for that data to hang around.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Data Retention

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where we send your data

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

What data breach procedures we have in place

Upon detecting a breach, our system will be taken offline and all activity suspended until we can determine the nature of the breach. Before confirming we have solved the issue, we will immediately broadcast a notice to all of our member audience of what has occurred. Regular status e-mails will be sent as appropriate.

We will identify points of egress and the code exploits or socially engineered hack that might have caused the problem and adapt our security stance accordingly.

This website stores no financially sensitive information, such as credit card numbers.

You agree to hold FlexTech Media harmless for any actions which inadvertently result in data loss, harm to reputation, or exposure of sensitive information, regardless of if such was caused by FlexTech Media or an outside malicious actor.
